One phone call away...
We’re living in times where our phone remains fully charged & necks bow down keeping our fingers busy with scrolling & switching to media contents. And wondrous thing is that most of our friends, relatives & acquaintances are just one phone call away & we refrain ourselves calling them. Instead we prefer to spend multiple of onscreen hours. Actually our never satisfying ‘ego’ propels us not to call the ones who never call us. And here’s where we lose close bonding too. It hardly takes five minutes of our busy schedule if we really want to call our closed ones. Even wishing them on their special occasions would make them feel special. Your one call could ignite their day. But our ‘Mr.Ego’ would hamper our way in saying that “Why should ‘I’ call when the ‘other’ doesn’t?” Basically, this tag line is the commonest of human behaviour. 70% of us believe in above said statement. But life shouldn’t be led this way. Why should we sacrifice our good instincts? May be that one phone call could make up all differences, could erase all ill-wills, please someone and brighten their day. One phone call to your near & dear ones won’t take much of your time, but would surely satisfy your impulses. My Maasi ji who turned 90 today never forgets to call every kith & kin once or twice a fortnight. It gives me immense pleasure to hear from her side every now & then. Her call always prompts me to comprehend that holding relationships tight is just a phone call away.
